Pre-Flight
Bendix/King's AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D have built-in electronic flight planning allows you to search for airports, and enter, manage, and store flight plans for use in both 2D and 3D view navigation. In addition, the AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D integrates with a number of leading flight planning software products, including DUATS. Before boarding, prepare your flight plan, download weather, prepare all relevant information to bring with you into the plane, and then activate the System. No need to print out paper copies of your selected charts or filed flight plans. All your pre-flight data is safely stored electronically on unit.

Taxi and Take-Off
AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D's built-in NACO airport diagrams help guide you around complex airports. When you are ready for take-off, the AV8OR 3D displays a realistic depiction of the airport runway in the 2D and 3D panes. As you begin your take-off, this Synthetic Vision System provides you with a realistic outside view during your climb, including TAWS terrain awareness in 2D and 3D.

Radar Vectoring*
Off-course navigation to deviate around weather and traffic or to comply with ATC approach vectoring is a part of everyday flying. AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D's exclusive patent-pending Radar Vectors feature provides 3D synthetic vision guidance throughout these operations. These systems automatically resumes course or approach navigation when vectoring operations are complete.

Approach and Land
When you are nearing your destination, consult your system as a supplemental aid when selecting the desired approach and approach plate view. For precision approaches, AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D translate the approach path into an easy-to-follow path leading right down to the runway, complete with terrain and obstacle information. AV8OR Horizon 3D and AV8OR Vision 3D help you to fly stabilized approaches, even during non-precision IFR approaches.

Tie-Down
When your flight is complete, return to ground mode and, at your option, log relevant flight data. You can then shut down or use the MCP as a standard Tablet PC until you are ready to fly again.
